Gardening....

of the fabric kind!

While I enjoyed making these Swedish Blooms,

 they did not prove

the scrapbuster block I was looking for!

I then came across this

Amsterdam quilt with tulips!

So I turned my hand to these....

And they have been great for cutting down the

scraps!

I've enjoyed going through my fabrics,

finding fabrics I had forgotten about

or remembering who gave them to me!

(Thanks Carla, there are some from you in here!)

All blocks have been made from my scraps!

I'm hoping to have this top together pretty soon!

Linking up with Leanne and Nicky

for Scraptastic Tuesday!

Happy Sewing...

Such a lovely scrap garden! Why is it that no matter how many scraps you use up, there's always far more than you imagined left over?

We're in the deep freeze here so these lovely blocks are just the thing to warm me up.

Such cute blocks! Makes me want to make a "garden" quilt with rows of different flowers, so I wouldn't have to choose just one!

Oh such a pretty garden. I agree it is so fun to look through our scraps and remember how much we loved that certain fabric. We have cold weather moving in so it is so nice to see your flowers.
